What is LAVA?
The Lake Area Voters Association (LAVA) was founded in 2006 to promote civic engagement and support leaders who understand the priorities and concerns of residents living in the area bounded by Lake Pontchartrain, City Park Avenue, the 17th Street Canal, and the London Avenue Canal.
